Classification: Part Time, Hourly
Reports to: Director of Campus Safety
Department: Campus Safety
Location: Faber Hall


Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
o Performs Campus vehicle and foot patrols
o Responds to and investigates campus incidents
o Completes various hand written and computer reports
o Enforces Campus rules and regulations
o Writes and Issues Citations
o Assists with special on campus events
o Performs locking and unlocking of numerous campus buildings
o Assists with other safety and security services as assigned

Preferred Qualification Requirements:
o Previous security, safety, and/or law enforcement experience preferred
o High School Diploma
o Good verbal and written communication skills
o Ability to service and work effectively within a diverse college campus community
o Possess a valid Michigan Driver’s License

Essential Qualification Requirements:
o A personal relationship with Jesus Christ and an active Christian commitment
o A theology that supports the values and mission of Cornerstone University evidenced by an ability to affirm and sign the university’s doctrinal statement, “The Cornerstone Confession”
