 I am trained in the area of management. Since the completion of my doctorate, I have worked in the areas of leadership, organizational development and strategic planning. I have listed the specifics of my doctoral and post-doctoral study below.

Paper submitted to a team of doctorate level metaevaluators at Western Michigan University. The metaevaluation focused on analyzing (purposes, questions, methods, strengths and weaknesses), scoring the papers against national standards and then developing a synthesis of all submitted papers. My paper scored highest of the five and was found to be useful, practical and technically sound, and it employed ethical procedures.

They can expect academically based course content that is also useful in their career, personal live and ministry life.

Of all the classes that you may teach, which one are you most passionate about?

Like choosing a favorite grandchild, I am unable to identify a favorite class.

Advice for College Students

 Go to class, do your homework, study for tests, don’t write your papers the night before they are due and honor God.

 Where were you born or raised?

Born in Casablanca, Morocco; raised in Grand Rapids, Mich.

Family information:

Married 34 years; have two daughters and nine grandchildren.

Interests and Passions Outside of Teaching

 Reading, helping nonprofits to plan and spending time with grandkids.

Mentors/Role Models

 Who is a person from your field of study whom you identify with and why?

Johnny Cash and William Shakespeare. Johnny Cash because he faced his demons and ended up walking with God. William Shakespeare because he truly understood the human condition and was able to communicate it.

Favorite Inspirational Quote or Bible Verse

 “Jesus wept.”
