In the fall of 2000, she won the second flute position with the Illinois Symphony Orchestra in Springfield, Ill. 

Additional Information

In September 2006, she won the third flute/piccolo position with the Battle Creek Symphony Orchestra, where she is now in her second season. She recently completed seven seasons with the Illinois Symphony Orchestra. From 2000 to 2003, she organized and played with the flute, soprano and harp trio Jouez!, which performed in Michigan and Illinois, including at the Noon Recital Series at Fourth Presbyterian Church in Chicago. In 2003, she played at the Anatomy of Sound Workshop at the University of Michigan with Amy Porter, Alexa Still and Goran Marcusson and performed J.S. Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto No. 4 for two flutes with the Illinois Symphony Orchestra.
