Courses
What can students expect from your classes? From your division?
A challenge. They will receive information that’s relevant to their lives and an invitation to think critically about the relevance of sociology for believers.
Of all the classes that you may teach, which one are you most passionate about?
I’m quite passionate about all of them. The one about which I’m most passionate varies from day to day. However, if I had to select two, they’d be introduction to sociology and social psychology. Both courses provide a little different perspective than most of us are accustomed to and are also so relevant. Students can’t sit through either of these classes and not learn something that increases their understanding of either themselves or their experiences.
