Can I take a make-up test in the Learning Center? 

Yes, only if approved first by the professor. 

  • Professors determine if a make-up test is allowed.
  • The professor will then direct the student to schedule the test at the Learning Center within a time frame outlined by the professor.
  • After the test is scheduled, it is the responsibility of the students to inform the professor of the arranged test date and time so the test can be sent to the Learning Center.

Does the Learning Center proctor distance education exams?

Yes, the Learning Center proctors exams for Cornerstone University students who need to take an exam for an online distance education course.

  • A timeframe of three hours is often allowed for these exams so students must plan accordingly when scheduling during the Learning Center office hours. 
  • Contact the Learning Center (learning.center@cornerstone.edu) for required proctor information.

Where do I take my Spanish Placement test?

Students needing to enroll in Spanish courses are required to schedule the Spanish Placement exam at the Learning Center.  This exam is administered on a Learning Center computer and takes approximately 30 minutes to complete.

Can I take a Math Placement Test in the Learning Center?

Incoming freshmen take the Math Placement Test the week before classes begin during Terra Firma.  Several other test times are offered throughout the school year and are posted on the Student CUBE announcements.  If individual Math Placement Test arrangements are needed, students should first contact either Laura Keys  or Dr. James Fryling .
