I feel blessed to be a member of the Cornerstone University faculty. I have been very impressed with the drive and determination of the students at Cornerstone. It is a pleasure to be a part of their academic and spiritual growth and development.
My favorite part of my job is watching student teachers transition from the mindset of a student to that of an educator who is now responsible for the instruction of others. Being able to assist students to reach this point is something I never grow tired of.
Assistant Professor England provides opportunities for academic excellence through:
- placing students in student teaching positions.
- attending Michigan state education meetings to keep abreast of changes.
- mentoring student teachers.
- teaching courses on learning disabilities.
- assisting students in the process of becoming certified educators.
- coordinating teaching internships overseas.
- serving at a summer camp for children in grief counseling.
