Economics
The economics minor is intended to prepare students intuitively, analytically and quantitatively to embrace both macroeconomic and microeconomic sets of knowledge and to outline economic problems providing solutions within a Christian framework. A special feature of the program is the opportunity for students to visit China and other nations on a short or longer-term basis expanding their knowledge, enhancing their worldview and opening up global opportunities for service and employment.
An economics student enjoys a challenging and rigorous environment and has a desire to increase his or her analytical skills as they draw application to a variety of economic situations. The program is broad enough to prepare students for positions in management, marketing, finance, government, international business, economic development, the social sciences and post-graduate work in any area of business, education, economics, the social sciences or law.
