Structure of the Committee
The Cornerstone University IRB will have the following characteristics:
- Be comprised of at least six (6) members with appropriate credentials and training (faculty, administration, professionals)
- Membership must represent a diversity of disciplines but must include at least two scientists, two social scientists and one non-university affiliated member
- Committee as a whole must meet at least once a semester
- Ongoing work of committee may be done by duly appointed subcommittees
