The Family Studies program provides a unique and vital experience as it combines culturally relevant classes with an intensive Christian community.  This area of study  impacts our community by building lasting marriages, raising Godly children and influencing our culture where God restores individuals and families.

Students in Family Studies are interested in understanding family development, behavior and strengths, and solving problems facing families.

What can I do with this major or minor?

With a Bachelor’s Degree: Case Manager, Substance Abuse Counselor, Parent Educator, Group Home Manager, and Adoption Counselor are some possible positions.

With an Advanced Degree – (Masters & Ph.D) – Marriage & Family Therapist, Psychologist, Social Worker, Administrator and Professor.
