Description:
Inter-Cultural majors are empowered to minister across cultural and ethnic boundaries. Through the study of scripture and development of ministry skills, the program prepares the student to live out the great commission as disciples of Christ.
What types of students succeed in this program?
Inter-Cultural students are passionate about God and desire to impact our world for the cause of Christ. They enjoy developing relationships with people, value differences in cultures and people, and seek to understand before speaking. They are excited about Jesus Christ and helping others develop a relationship with Him.
What can I do with this major or minor?
Graduates in this field serve in a wide variety of places and situations from ministry in the inner-city to overseas ministry in other countries. They also perform a multitude of tasks of service from developing programs to church planting to teaching to service projects. They work with the youth, poor, orphans, and churches act as community leaders in schools, clinics, villages, cities, and rural.

What are some of internships or partnerships with this program?
Internships in this field are done cross culturally in another country with international people or in the inner city. The internship is done alongside those who are doing inter-cultural ministry; partnering with missionaries, Christian workers, and nationals to do ministry while learning the skills necessary to impact our world for Christ.
What is the future outlook with a degree in this area?
Going to different areas in the states and foreign countries in western nations and developing countries with every ethnicity and every religion to simply proclaim the love of Jesus so that all might know Him as Lord and Master.
