The business administration major / minor is a general degree in business with a management scope that allows students to develop skills to meet the needs of all types of organizations; both for-profit and not-for-profit, along with providing the flexibility of choosing a minor in an area other than business.

An internship of 6 credit hours is required to allow students to involve themselves in a hands-on position, where they actually apply the management theory learned in the classroom.

What is the future outlook with a degree in this area?

There is a continuing need for managers who can effectively and efficiently manage resources to accomplish the organization goals within budget. The need exists in every segment of the economy, and is only likely to increase.
