Comments:

Ever since I was young, various individuals helped me to identify abilities I had in communicating with others in the forms of speaking, acting, researching and teaching. I was encouraged to pursue a career in a communication related field. Since I desired to be a good steward of my God-given abilities and resources, I pursued ways to develop these abilities and apply them to every aspect of my life. Through my pursuits, I realized the power of messages--both verbal and nonverbal--in our relationships. That power could hurt or heal; it could make us laugh or cry; it could bring us together or tear us apart. I have come to see teaching, practicing and researching communication as my calling.
