He is a member of the Conference on Faith and History, the Economic and Business Historical Society, and the Society for the History of American Foreign Relations. He has published in Essays in Economic and Business History, Fides et Historia, History and Technology, and The Journal of Military History. He has a book, Aviator of Fortune: Lowell Yerex and the Anglo-American Commercial Aviation Rivalry, 1931- 46, which is due out in 2006 from Texas A&M Press.
