Bachelor of Music, DePaul University; Master of Music, DePaul University; Doctor of Musical Arts (A.B.D.), Shenandoah University.
After receiving my masters degree, I immediately began teaching in the private sector in addition to performing extensively in Chicago. Later, I was the assistant to the Pastor of Worship and Music at Winnetka Bible Church in Winnetka, Illinois. My husband and I moved to Vermont shortly after marrying, and I put my singing career on hold while I helped him establish his business there. I returned to academia to obtain my doctorate with the ultimate goal of teaching at the university level.
I have worked as an Adjunct Instructor of Voice at Shenandoah University, Trevecca Nazarene University and Tennessee State University.
I have appeared with Chicago Opera Theater, Chamber Opera Chicago, Light Opera Works, and Opera North. I have performed the roles of Lady Billows (Albert Herring), Ann Putnam (The Crucible), Rosalinda (Die Fledermaus), and Pamina (The Magic Flute) in addition to numerous solo concert appearances including Schubert's Mass in G, Mozart's Requiem, Beethoven's Mass in C and Verdi's Requiem for which I was the soprano soloist understudy. I've also sung on television commercials for Nintendo and McDonalds in addition to being a former member of the demo recording chorus for Shawnee Press. I've worked with the Nashville Symphony Chorus and Chamber Chorus and has taught at both Tennessee State University and Trevecca Nazarene University.

I'm married, and we are proud owners of a smooth-haired collie and a loving and loyal cat named The Duchess of Norwich.
I enjoy reading, cooking, helping my husband manage his online business, and watching Red Sox baseball!
I believe that in order for us, as Christian artists, to be good witnesses in the music field, we must be excellent musicians. My goal as Director of Vocal Studies is to equip all singers to be well-rounded vocal technicians and artists.
