I taught adjunct at Cornerstone University for one semester and at Gulf Coast Community College in Panama City, FL for one year. I was a graduate teaching assistant in the clarinet department at Florida State University for three years. I have performed with the Sarasota Opera Orchestra, Tallahassee Symphony, Tactus (a contemporary music ensemble in NYC) and currently perform with the Grand Rapids Symphonic Band, Grand Rapids Symphony Orchestra, and Midland Symphony. For the past three years I have been actively involved as a soloist and chamber musician at the Baroque on Beaver Chamber Music Festival in Beaver Island, MI.

I live with two college professors and two very large dogs, Gus and Frances.
Attending Mars Hill Bible Church, coffee, yoga, exercise, coffee, spending time with friends, coffee, attending concerts and other cultural events in Grand Rapids, reading for fun (when I get a chance), and….coffee.
