ADMISSION INTO MUSIC PROGRAM

Students in all music degree programs (Contemporary Christian Music, Performance, Music Education and Bachelor of Arts) must perform standard freshman-level repertoire, as defined by the music department, with acceptable technical facility and musical interpretation for admission into the music department as a major. Auditions for admission and/or scholarship consideration will be held each spring for the following fall semester. Transfer students must audition in the semester prior to the proposed semester of enrollment. A formal letter stating the terms of acceptance and any scholarship awards will be sent in the weeks following the audition. No official terms will be spoken at the time of the audition.
