Composition Auditions
The audition process will consist of a personal interview with the composition faculty, an assessment of the student's aural and theoretical skills, an audition that meets the requirements in another area (piano, instrumental, voice, percussion, contemporary Christian music), and submission of original work (either though live or taped performance). Please note that recorded or live performances of original works without scores in accurate notation are not acceptable.
Students must possess:
- Basic musicianship
- Proficiency on a musical instrument
- Creative potential
- Examples of his or her original work
- Written/Notated Scores
- Live/Taped Performances are encouraged but not required
