Auditions for the Symphonic Winds 2008-2009 Season
Are you interested in being part of the Cornerstone University Symphonic Winds? The Symphonic Winds is open to all full-time students by audition and requires that all students participate in the ensemble for the entire academic year. The first meeting of Symphonic Winds will take place on Monday, August 25 at 4:00pm in DAVR 112 (the large ensemble room); This will be a beginning of the year business meeting so you will not need your instruments. Auditions for the 2008-2009 Concert Season will take place on Tuesday, August 26, 2008 and Wednesday, August 27, 2008. Sign-up sheets are posted on Dr. VanDessel’s door (Gordon Music Building, Room 7). Please sign up for a time at your earliest convenience. Auditions will take place in the Gordon Music Building auditorium.
The audition will consist of a musical excerpts from the upcoming 2008-2009 concert season. Audition packets are currently available. PDF files are linked to your instrument.
