English Education (Elementary & Secondary)
The English program seeks to introduce students to the important literature of world culture with an aim of developing them into effective teachers who can understand moral choices and can design, express, interpret and evaluate written literature in light of a Christian worldview.
"After four years as an active student in the Humanities Division at Cornerstone University, I look forward to life after graduation. The professors have equipped me to teach, to write and to share my passion for linguistics and literature. As I’ve participated in a Bible study with a dear humanities professor, I’ve explored a new way to read and reflect on Scripture. Each professor offers not only academic support, but prayer and a genuine desire to see each student succeed." Heidi Chinn (English/TESOL 2009)
