Compass Arts

Compass Arts Academy is a Biblically based nonprofit organization, located in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Courses offered train students to effectively impact culture through the media by communicating God’s light into popular culture through film, hands-on instruction and mentoring relationships with film production professionals. The following courses can be used as electives in the Communication Arts major or minor, as electives in the Mass Communication Minor, and in the Media Studies Program.

COM 250 Writing for Film (3 credits)
COM 350 Film Production (3 credits)
COM 352 Faith – Film – Culture (3 credits)

Tuition is paid to Cornerstone University.
