Russian Studies Program
RSP students are exposed to the depth and diversity of the culture during a semester spent in Russia’s three largest cities: Moscow, St. Petersburg, and Nizhni Novgorad. In addition to three seminar courses, students receive instruction in the Russian language.
Students spend time in Moscow, the heart of both medieval and modern Russia. Students also spend 12 weeks in Nizhni Novgorod, a strategic city on the Volga River. After six weeks of language instruction, students live with a Russian family for the remainder of their stay in this city and participate in a service opportunity. The program also includes time in the complex and intriguing city of St. Petersburg, the Russian "window to the West." Students maintain enrollment at Cornerstone University and earn 16 semester credits in the following tracks:

Russian Language (6 credits or 4 credits)
International Relations and Business (NA or 2 credits)
History and Sociology of Religion (3 credits or 3 credits)
Russian Peoples, Culture & Literature (4 credits or 4 credits)
Russia in Transition (3 credits or 3 credits)
