Off-Campus Study Programs Process
As you consider participating in Off-Campus Study Programs (OCSP), please follow the process listed below:
- Review OCSP information sources:
- Current Cornerstone University Catalog (Academic Information section)
- Cornerstone Web site
- Meet with Director of Student Retention to obtain CU-OCSP Application
- Choose specific Off-Campus Study Program
- Meet with Director of Student Financial Services regarding Financial Aid package (Ketcham Building)
- Meet with Director of Retention regarding enrollment at CU during Off-Campus Study Program (Ketcham Building)
- Complete Transfer Credit Pre-Approval form (www.cornerstone.edu, go to Registrar Office). This will give you information regarding the transferability of courses
- Return completed CU-OCSP Application to Director of Student Retention
- Apply for financial aid as a CU student
- All aid will be administered through CU's Student Financial Aid Office for CU approved OCSP
- Payment in full for the semester should be made to CU by January 1 for spring programs and August 1 for fall programs (No payment plans are available as CU pays program administrators at beginning of semester)
- Complete application for specific Off-Campus Study Program -application information is available on specific program website
- Complete CU course registration with faculty advisor with Off Campus Study Program registration code (i.e. ASP 100 - American Study Program) and register for Off-Campus Study Program
- Request an official transcript from Off-Campus Study Program administrator upon completion of program to be sent to the Cornerstone University Registrar's Office
- Off-campus program transcript will be evaluated by CU registrar and entered on Cornerstone University transcript
