The Cornerstone University Writing Center
The Writing Center at Cornerstone University provides peer writing assistance free of charge to all traditional undergraduate students. Writing Center tutors help students expand their critical thinking and writing skills through one-on-one tutoring opportunities in a helpful and encouraging environment.
The services we provide include:
- One-on-one peer writing tutoring with students
- Information about how to most effectively plan and/or write papers
- Conversations and discussions on how to better understand writing
- Formatting assistance with APA, MLA, Chicago, and Turabian styles of writing
- Assistance with research skills
- Assistance with editing
Open Hours for Spring Semester 2012
Daytime Hours:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday: 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Evening Hours:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday: 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Location: The Writing Center is located on the 1st floor of Miller Library
Writing tutoring will be offered on both an appointment and on a walk in basis. Please understand that students with appointments will be assisted first, while we will gladly accommodate students who walk in as soon as possible.
