· Electronic Application to Teacher Education Program –
on Eagle’s Nest
· Reference Forms (2 faculty, 1 Student Development) –
all processed through Eagle’s Nest
· Copy of your Michigan Basic Skills Test Results
· Interview with Teacher Education faculty
Standards & Requirements
· Students must have all program requirements complete before being
accepted fully into the Teacher Education program
· Cumulative GPA – 2.5
· GPA – 2.50 or higher in your major; three minor program –
in two minors
· GPA – 2.0 or higher in minor
· Good academic and social standing
· College level speech course – minimum grade of C
· Writing course – minimum grade of C
· Grade of C or better in all EDU and Methods courses
· Passing scores in reading, math and writing of the Michigan Basic
Skills Test
