All assignments are made within a 50-mile radius of Cornerstone’s campus without exception. Please plan accordingly.
Students must complete a Student Teaching Application on the Eagle's Nest one year prior to their experience.
Submit Applications for Fall by the first Friday in October

Early Childhood Practicum, English as a Second Language Practicum, and Learning Disabilities Practicum applications are due one semester prior to the intern assignment.
All course work and Teacher Education standards must be completed and met prior to the student teaching semester.
The Student Placement Coordinator will make contacts to schools on your behalf. Preferences and suggestions are welcomed; please make inquiries with the Student Placement Coordinator.
Students must complete an interview with the cooperating teacher and/or school administrator and receive full approval for placement.

Make sure there are no errors and that your application is professional. If there are errors upon receipt of the application, the application will be sent back with requested changes and then resubmitted before the application is considered complete.
Applications are sent to the schools for placement - the application must be professional in appearance and grammar in order for it to be sent out.
Go to the Teacher Education Office and we will print your application at our printer for you to sign.
