TESOL Program

The Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) Program at Cornerstone University prepares students to teach in English as a Second Language (ESL) and English as a Foreign Language (EFL) settings.

ESL generally refers to teaching English within an English-speaking country, while EFL refers to teaching English in a foreign context. Cornerstone’s undergraduate and graduate programs in TESOL will prepare students to earn an endorsement as a public school teacher in the US or teach English globally in vocational ministry or other occupation. The graduate program is offered in an on-line/distance-learning format, making it accessible to students around the world.
