To the alumni, students and employees of Cornerstone University,
What an incredible time of celebration we shared at Homecoming 2009! Throughout the week our community came together to create lasting memories and reflect on those memories from the past. Whether you were dressing a decade, participating in one of the many events on campus, or connecting with another member of the CU family, you helped establish a culture of celebration that is core to our values.
To all of you who were involved – thank you!
Alumni, thank you for investing your time and resources into this place we all love so much. Thank you for returning, reconnecting, and reminding us of the legacy of Christ followers that has come before. You are the reason we exist and we are glad to have been able to celebrate with you during the week.
Students, like I have said before – you’re a student for a while but an alum forever! We are glad you chose to be a part of such a memorable week for our community. Thank you for bringing a spirit of energy to the events, a spirit of celebration to the campus, and spirit of fun to our lives. We cannot wait to connect you with more alumni in the future.
Faculty and Staff, you are crucial to this community and we have the deepest gratitude for all the work you do. Thank you for pouring into the students of yesterday, today, and tomorrow. Thank you for not taking life too seriously and fully engaging in the week.
Homecoming 2009 was just the start of a new chapter in our efforts to invest in alumni and it was a success. We cannot wait to offer more incredible events throughout the years.
