Why CU/GRTS?I came to study the Bible.
Years Attended:
1977-1981
How Was Your Life Transformed:
I came in with no directions and left as a minister.
Influential Contributions:
So many professors impacted me. However, Dr. Crawford's love for the Bible and passion for biblical theology is a part of my life and teaching today.
How Have Your Experiences at CU Prepared You:
The college experience
taught me how to always be a student. I learned to love to learn. Being
teachable and living each day in a state of discovery has kept me fresh,
passionate, repentant and prepared to minister.
What You Want Others To Know:
I have served for more than
10 years at New Hope Community Church. I provide pastoral care, biblical
counsel, hope and Godly instruction to this healthy church family. I was in an
awful motorcycle accident as I came home from a wedding rehearsal. I was
air-lifted to help. I had many broken bones and injuries. God used this season
of pain for His glory! Focus on the Family interviewed me last year and
recorded my story injury, rehab, brokenness, healing and recovery. You can find
the story at
parsonage.org under the pastor
to pastor section, entitled Storms of Ministry. As well, I have a small website
ministry that reaches out to others recovering from trauma called Soulrehab.org.
One more ministry blessing I have joined the Timothy Network at Team Missions.
We seek to provide encouragement, counsel and relational support to
missionaries. I go each year to Nepal to care for the missionaries serving in
Nepal.
