The Golden Eagles moved back into a tie for first place after Cornerstone defeated UM-Dearborn 96-53 and Madonna defeated Aquinas 74-69 tonight. Jonker, a senior center from Grand Rapids posted back-to-back 20-plus point games and averaged nine rebounds a contest in two games for the Golden Eagles. Jonker connected on 17-of-31 field goals for a .550 shooting percentage and also dished out three assists and blocked three shots. For the week, Jonker averaged 23.5 points, nine rebounds and just over one block and assist per game.
