Crandell Leaving CU To Become Men's Varsity Basketball Coach at Byron Center H.S.

Jared Crandell has resigned his position as Asst. Basketball at Cornerstone to become the Varsity Boys Basketball Coach at Byron Center High School. Crandell has been involved with Cornerstone Basketball since 1992 as both a player and a coach. Crandell excelled as a player and really changed the face of Cornerstone Basketball. He finished not only as Cornerstone’s All-Time Leading Scorer with 2,772 points but also as Michigan’s All-Time Collegiate scoring leader. Crandell finished his career …

Sophomore Matt Kingshott was named All-WHAC First Team by the WHAC coaches. Kingshott led the WHAC in scoring this season averaging (19.2) points per game. Kingshott finished 2nd in Field Goal Percentage (58.9%) and 3rd in Total Rebounds (7.63) per game.Caleb Simons was also honored by being named All-WHAC Third Team and Freshmen of the Year.
