Christie Named Male Athlete of the Year

Trevor Christie has been named 2008 Male Athlete of the Year. Christie was afour year starter and a three year captain for the Men's Soccer Team. Trevor was an NAIA Scholar-Athlete two times and received the WHAC Champions of Character Award three times during his career. He sustained a broken collar bone early in the season and was told that he would be out for the season but he vowed to be back to finish the season and that is exactly what he did. Patrick Wilson II was selected to the NAIA Region VIII First Team and Honorable Mention All-American. Wilson received those same honors last season as a junior. Brent Grube was also voted to the NAIA Region VIII Second Team by the coaches of Region VIII.
