Cornerstone Drops 1-0 Game at Marian

The Golden Eagles played their second game in a row traveling to Indianapolis to take on the Knights of Marian University.  Cornerstone battled to a 0-0 draw at the end of the first half.  Both team had six shots in the half.  The second half was similar with both teams getting five shots but Marian found the back of the net in the 75th minute to take the game 1-0.  Jacob Stanko led the Golden Eagles with six shots.  Cornerstone drops to 1-1 on the season and will return to action on Tuesday when they travel to IL to take on Olivet Nazarene at 5:00 p.m. EST (4:00 local time).
