Olivet Nazarene Nips the Golden Eagles

The men’s soccer team dropped their second game in a row losing 1-0 to Chicagoland Conference foe Olivet Nazarene. ONU scored in the 60th minute to record the shut-out. Matt Osorio led the team with two shots and one shot on goal. Cornerstone finished the game with two shots on goal to ONU’s 9. Goal-keeper Dan Kerstan played the first half for CU and had 5 saves. Kyle Brekan played the net in the second half and allowed one goal and had 3 saves. Cornerstone will host St. Xavier for their first home match and final tune-up for WHAC completion on Thursday, September 3rd.
