MEN'S SOCCER
Corner Kick Dooms Cornerstone

The men's soccer team lost some ground in the WHAC race losing 1-0 at Aquinas. A corner kick by Ruben Ornelas was scored by Mike Vaughan at the 50:39 minute mark and that ended up being the game winner for the Saints. Goalkeeper Dan Kerstan recorded 5 saves but took the loss. Aquinas had 12 shots to CU's 11 in the game. The Golden Eagles (3-3 WHAC, 5-6 overall) fell one game behind the Saints (4-2 WHAC, 7-3 overall) and Indiana Tech (4-2) and a half game behind Davenport (3-2 WHAC) to place 4th in conference. The Golden Eagles will travel to Davenport on Wednesday, October 7th for a 4pm game.
