Kerstan Named WHAC Defensive Player of the Week

Dan Kerstan (a sophomore GK from Mundelein, Ill.) was named WHAC Defensive Player of the Week after picking up two wins in the goal last week. Kerstan recorded six saves in a 3-1 win over cross-town rival Davenport on Wednesday, October 7th and then followed that up with a shutout over Siena Heights on Saturday. Kerstan made eight saves against the Saints. Kerstan has only given up five goals in nine games so far this season. He is currently ranked 16th in the nation with a GAA of .710.
