Skilling Named Region VIII Player-of-the-Year

Tom Skilling has been named Region VIII Player-of-the-Year for the 2006 season. Skilling received the most votes in the region to be awarded the honor. Skilling made the All-Region team three times during his career at Cornerstone. Patrick Wilson II was also named to the All-Region First Team. Golden Eagles Advance To Regional Final on PK's

(Grand Rapids, Mich) The Golden Eagles are going to be hosting the Region VIII Championship on Saturday after defeating Indiana Wesleyan (3-1) on PK's this afternoon. The game ended in a 2-2 tie but Cornerstone prevailed in the penalty kick shootout. (Grand Rapids, Mich.) Cornerstone Men’s Soccer followed up their regular season title with the WHAC Tournament Championship today. Cornerstone defeated Madonna 2-1 to take the title.
