AS A FRESHMAN: Played at Tennessee Temple…scored 5 goals with 6 assists for 16 points… Three of his goals came off of free kicks from about 20-25 yards from the goal.

HIGH SCHOOL AND PERSONAL: Carlos was raised in an orphanage in Northern Portugal beginning at the age of18 months. This environment provided a constant pool of older soccer enthusiasts from which he learned the intricacies of dribbling, shooting, passing and scoring. Carlos is a talented artist and is interested in learning to play the guitar. He is a Christian leader who is active in his local church assisting the elementary school ministry. Carlos volunteered with the Big Brothers program in Chattanooga, TN. One of his future life goals is to take a trip to Africa and help build churches in the former Portuguese territory of Angola.
