HIGH SCHOOL AND PERSONAL: “Junior is another player that we connected with at 2006 Chicago Sockers’ FC Annual College Showcase. The more we got to know Junior, the more we knew what a great fit he would be for our program. Junior is an outstanding attacking forward with good size and speed. I believe Junior will bring a spark to our offense with the graduation of the last year’s leading scorers. He finished his high school career with 40 goals and 20 assists. In his senior year, he was the top goal scorer of Northern Illinois with 28 goals and also had 12 assists… named co-captain his senior year. .. was named All-Sectional, All-Area Northwest Herald, All-Area Daily Herald, and Unanimous All-Conference in 2007….scored 11 goals in 2006… Junior played under Coach Pat O’Brien at Hampshire High School and Greg Guff for Fox Valley Strikers…He is the son of Tola and Shola Makinde.
