Layne has been a full-time staff member since the fall of 2006. He has been familiar face around the Athletics department following his four years as a part of the men’s soccer team and a regular employee for game day operations. He was married in the winter of 2007 to CU alumni Tiffany (Howell) Kreh. Layne graduated with a Communications major and Sports Management minor in 2005, and in the fall of 2007 he finished his MBA degree.
