Cathi Velzen Named All-WHAC (First Team)

Sophomore Cathi Velzen was named All-WHAC (First Team) and All-Defensive Team. Velzen led the Golden Eagles with 12.8 points per game and led the WHAC with 123 Assists during the 2002-2003 campaign. Velzen had 1.8 steals per game, 1.5 blocks per game, and 5.2 rebounds per game on the defensive side of the ball. Amy Popielarz was selected to the All-WHAC (Second Team). Popielarz was the second leading scorer for the Golden Eagles scoring 11.8 points per game.
