Stephanie Allers continued the Golden Eagles presence on the All-American Teams last week as she was named to the Honorable Mention Team for her efforts during the 05-06 season. The Junior Forward from Marne, MI (Coopersville) led the team to an overall record of 21-10. Allers averaged 11.6 ppg and 7.0 rpg to lead the team in both categories while posting six double-doubles on the season.

The Golden Eagles and Crusaders fought down to the wire and Madonna came out with a hard fought win to advance to the WHAC Semi-Final against Aquinas on Saturday. Senior Ashley Tatro led the Golden Eagles to a 78-67 victory over Concordia on Senior Day. Tatro scored 15 points and pulled down 4 rebounds for Cornerstone. Cornerstone traveled over to Aquinas to play a crucial WHAC contest this afternoon and left with a 61-58 defeat.
