The season came to an abrupt end today for the Golden Eagles as they lost 73-64 to #3 seed William Jewell. Cornerstone made just 19 of 57 shots (33.3%) from the field including just 1 of 10 shots from behind the arc. Thescore was fairly even throughout most of the game and the Golden Eagles go to within 2 points (62-60) with 2:52 left on the clock but that was as close as they would get down the stretch.
