The Cornerstone University Women’s Cross Country team started the season with a great showing at the Vanderbilt Invitational hosted by Hope College, finishing just five points away from winning the meet. The race began under sunny skies on the two-loop course behind Ridge Point Church which featured a steep, 100 meter climb midway through the race and again just before the finish.
