Crystal Dietz

Crystal Dietz comes to Cornerstone from Lowell High School and is the second signing to the newly formed women’s golf program. Crystal is a three year varsity starter, and led her team as the #1 player and MVP for her 2007 senior season. Crystal is a powerful player with a lot of potential over the next four years. She will be an asset to building our program both with her golf ability and with her attitude.

Other interests for Crystal are she likes to run and play basketball. She is working at Applebee’s this year to help pay for school.

Crystal has spent time on campus visiting friends and says “I think Cornerstone is a great school and seems like a great environment. I like the idea of a Christian environment and look forward to learning more by being here.”

Sam Duthler

Cornerstone signs Samantha Duthler from South Christian High School. Sam comes from a strong program and has been a contributor to their varsity golf team for 4 years. Her team made it to the state finals each of those years becoming state champs in one year and State runner-up in another losing by only one stroke. “I didn't know for sure if I really wanted to go to Cornerstone at first,” says Sam, “but as soon as I did a campus visit somehow I just knew it was the right place for me to be. It just made everything more real and I am really excited to be attending Cornerstone next year.”

Sara Morrow

Sara Morrow comes to Cornerstone from Greenville High School. Sara has been part of a strong golf program under Nancy Johnson and was part of a successful varsity season last year. The Greenville team went undefeated in match play as her team won the OK white conference, regionals, and finished third at the state finals. Sara will bring a solid work ethic and team attitude to the Cornerstone program, and has improved her play each year. “I love golf and can’t wait to play for Cornerstone in the fall,” says Sara. “I picked Cornerstone because it seems like a good school and I think being here will help me be focused on my school work. The environment and people have been very nice and I think I’ll enjoy being here.”
