Lund Named WHAC Offensive Player of the Week

Ashleigh Lund of Cornerstone University and Haley Mancini of Siena Heights University were named the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Women's Soccer Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week. The pair led their teams to a 2-2-1 combined record.
Lund won the offensive honor by netting a hat trick and all three of the team's goals in a 3-0 win against Concordia University. They were the first goals of the season for the junior defender from Middleville, Mich. Cornerstone went 1-1 on the week after an earlier loss to Roberts Wesleyan College (N.Y.), 0-1. The Golden Eagles now sit at 1-3-1 and will host Davenport University on Sept. 16.
