CU Wins on the road

The women's soccer team defeated Goshen College 2-0 in a non-conference game. Jen Kuipers scored CU's first goal at the 9:48 mark on an assist by Amanda Dudiak. Riley Steen scored the game winner at the 48:15 minute mark. CU outshot the Maple Leafs 27 to 5 and 9 shots on goal to Goshen's 1. Cornerstone will host Concordia at noon on Saturday.

Saints Shutout Golden Eagles

Siena Heights secured their number one spot in theWHAC with a 4-0 shutout over the Golden Eagles in Adrian. The Saints scored twice in the first half with the first one coming off a free kick at the 24:57 mark. Gemma Cowperthwaite scored a header off a cross to close out the first half. The Aquinas Saints flexed their muscle scoring a 4-0 win over the visiting Golden Eagles. The Saints took a 3-0 lead into half-time scoring goals in the 26th, 36th and 39th minute.
