Cornerstone Coaching Staff Honored

Jim Farrell and his staff (Amber Jost, Mary Mauro, & Mindy Rader) were named NFCA Great Lakes Region (Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, & Wisconsin) Staff of the Year. Farrell and his staff led Cornerstone to a seventh trip to the NAIA Region VIII tournament and a third national tournament berth since 2000. The Golden Eagles finished the season with a 27-23 mark, claiming the Region VIII tournament title.

Jim Farrell was honored by the NFCA (National Fastpitch Coaches Association) at the NFCA National Convention held in Orlando, FL. Farrellwas presented with a certificatefor reaching 100 victoriesas a head coach this past season.
