Stephanie Allers got a good look at what the competition will be like at the NAIA Outdoor National Championships later this month while competing at the Billy Hayes Invitational hosted by Indiana University. The combination of good NCAA Division I schools as well as top NAIA programs from McKendree and Missouri Baptist meant nearly all events were deep in talent. After setting personal bests in the snow and rain earlier in the season, Kara Smeltzer had no trouble improving on those performances in warm, sunny conditions at the Spartan Invitational hosted by Michigan State University. Allers Hits Automatic in 100 Hurdles

Stephanie Allers won the 100 meter hurdles at the Bulldog Invitational hosted by Ferris State University. Her time of 14.68 was well under the NAIA automatic qualifying standard of 14.90. Allers, a two-time All-American in the event earned her third trip to the NAIA Outdoor National Championships on May 25-27 in Fresno, CA.
