The 2008 NAIA Indoor All-American trained for nearly a year to prepare for the 12.4 mile event.

In the first event, the 3,000 meter race walk, Janelle Brown and Katie Malinowski went significantly faster than they did in last year’s championships. Brown was exactly one minute quicker, finishing in 16:06.13 for sixth place and repeating her All-American status from 2008.
