Warriors Ground the Golden Eagles

The four match winning streak came to a halt when the volleyball team traveled to Fort Wayne to take on the Indiana Tech Warriors.  The Golden Eagles lost 3-0 with the first game being a back and forth slugfest that ended 34-32.  CU lost the next two 25-15, 25-17.  Alicia TerHaar and Becky Albrecht led the team with 9 kills apiece.  Albrecht had a team high 14 digs and Kayla Wilson added 13.  Indiana Tech had a hitting percentage of .240 to CU's .083.  The Warrior improved to 5-6 overall and 1-0 in the WHAC while CU fell to 6-8 overall and 0-1 in the WHAC.  Cornerstone will take on the Aquinas Saints on Thursday, Sept. 17th at 7pm.  Due to renovations to the AQ Fieldhouse the match will be played at Forest Hills Northern.
